In my opinion and with the support of the SMRCA Board and membership this critical introduction of administration and structure, I believe, is the “key” to our future. Committees are the home for the “action steps” and for involvement and ownership by our members and our Board.

Without committees, our General Membership Meetings can be tedious and appear to be a “venting” session. Venting and expressing ourselves is crucial but RESULTS tied to the problems, is what changes the future, in my strong opinion. The following are committee updates that are shared with the disclosure that our SRMCA bylaws until amended and ratified by our Membership, prevail. We are actively recruiting and building these teams so we can define and recommend bylaws changes as appropriate by the Membership through our Bylaws Committee, chaired by Scott Bente and represented by our bylaws. This is a perfect time to get involved. I welcome it and thank some amazing contributions by incredible people in building these “bridges” to our future.
